  1. This is called and encryption KEY and it is set up in the router's controls.  To access the controls you type the router's IP into your browser's address bar.  The IP will look something like this.  (192.168.0.1).  If you do not know or do not have the book that came with your router you can find it's IP by using the Command Prompt.

    Click Start/All Programs/Accessories/Command Prompt.

At the Prompt, type "ipconfig /all" without the qoutes, and then hit enter.  Your routers IP should be listed as the DHCP server.

Once you have opened the routers controls, look for the section that sets up WPA encryption.  You will need to generate a KEY that will be typed into the router controls and also into any computer that needs to access the router via WIFI.  Any computer that does not have the encryption KEY can not access the router's WIFI signal.  Write this KEY down and keep it in a safe place.  You do not want to loose the KEY.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Check the manufacturing company website or documentation that came with your router. They will have mentioned IP. Open your browser and go to that IP site, you will find the option there.

  3. Call your internet provider and get them to walk you through setting all of that up.. That's what I had to do when I set up my wireless.
