How can I set the date and clock 2 appear on my pictures??

I have a Sony W-55 camera.They do appear when i take pictures but then when i transfer all of the pictures 2 the comp. there is no date and no clock on the picture.

It only appears on the LCD to show the status.  The date and time is written to the EXIF data of the jpg file.  Often times, you have to stamp it after you've transferred it to your computer.  There are programs that will automatically stamp it, or you can use Photoshop and create a much nicer stamp.

I generally recommend to people to not stamp their image as that information is stored in the file (along with lots of other information), but old habits die hard.
