Going to a tradeshow where the cost of Internet conections is crazy. The system has you log in with the computer you are going to use and it stores the MAC ID and only allows a connection to that. Is there a router set up that will work with this so I can wifi or hardwire connections to multiple machines? There will be a mix of macs and pcs just to complicate things further...

  1. In the linksys router, there is a menu "Copy Mac Address". Probably you can check that in your router.

  2. Just set up the router in advance.  Then connect the computer to the router - THEN connect the router to the internet connection.  The new Linksys WRT54GL is flat and easy to throw into an attache case.

  3. In your nic cards' driver settings you can set your own MAC address. Set them all the same.
