as far as i know your only option is to drive it there your self...

if you had given your country i may be able to help further as you can have cars shipped to the us but this is at high cost.

alternatively you could lend her the money to buy a second hand car.

Where would you be shipping it from?

That would determine how much it would cost and if it would be worth it.

Would the car be staying permanently in Vancouver?  If so, then it might be worth shipping there, but if it was for you to use while you were visiting her, then it probably would not.

Is it possible for you to drive it there?

If you are living in mainland US or another part of Canada, check into the cost of having it shipped by rail.

Shipping can be a big pain.  Look into hiring someone to drive it up for you.

Don't ship it per se. Hire a Drive-away company.

Find one that is reliable and insures your vehicle. There should be one in the Yellow Pages of your local phone book.

My husband and I have often used "Drive-away" as our transportation to go from one city (Montreal) to another and it is quite reliable. The Drive away company does a background and credit check on the drivers and your car will get there safe within the time allotted.
