How can I ship my pet from Jax FL. to St. Croix VI?

Currently airline heat restrictions prevent shipping my dog from Jacksonville Fl. to St. Croix VI. I am seeking alternate methods rather than American Airlines. My dog weighs 25 pounds, is roughtly 26 inches long from tip of his nose to the tip of his tail. Height is roughly 19 inches to the top of his head. He does not meet the size rules for a Cabin Carry pet.
