How can I show my wife I appreciate her?

Even when I say thank you for (something specific) it does not seems to matter. I just want her to know that I do.

you have got to  appreciate your wife.when ever some thing she does you make it a point to note down and along with immediate occasion ,utilise such moments for appreciating her.even if the receipe she made is average you can appreciate her attempt.some day children were attended and she spends her time with children,you are away, on return , please appreciate. you can do this any time you feel

It doesn't seem to matter to you? or to her? well anyway the best way to TELL her is to simply talk to her everyday either every morning or every night before you go to bed that you are grateful for her everyday and everything she does for you and your family and that you couldn't imagine your life with out her. That will make her feel really special.

Then to SHOW her appreciation you can give her surprises maybe once a week or so. They don't have to be surprises you buy but some examples that make me melt from my husband is when he brings my favorite candy bar home or writes me a letter when hes a work and gives it to me when he gets home, when he makes me breakfast in bed (b/c I'm the one that usually is cooking). trust my advice will give you major points. c**p I cook, clean, laundry, home renovations, take care of our 5 animals and aquarium and I rarely even get a thank you and I have been married for almost 9yrs.  I just get more nagging telling me that something else needs fixing or clean the kitchen and c**p we both work full time.  I appreciate my wife but really she ain't showing me much appreciation so why should I return the favour.

In most cases flowers and a nice card will do the trick followed by you getting a sitter since you have a baby and going out to a romantic meal.

Sometimes I have gotten my wife a stuffy we both love stuffed animals and they last whey longer then some flowers ot I have gotten her a nice plant atleast these will last for years rather then days.

Say thank you with your actions as well.

"honey you sit down while I cook/clean. You work hard."

"I made reservations for us and got a sitter. You work very hard and I appreciate it."

"I got a maid for us so we can both relax and enjoy each other this weekend."

"Here, I bought you this little gift to show you how much I care.

I always feel appreciated when my husband does some of the things at home that I usually take care of.  For instance, when I was out of town for a couple of days on business he cleaned the entire house.  I came home and it was perfectly clean.  I really appreciated that.

I think that actions speak louder than words.  Keep telling her thank you but maybe also start to take some of the house duty pressure off of her by doing some of the chores.

Find something that is important to her. I know that my husband appreciates me when he gets up on the weekends and makes the coffee, feeds the pets and lets me sleep a little. I also am ready to jump his bones when he cleans the kitchen. These little things mean so much to me and it says he loves me.
