Ok so my grandma bought me a shirt from Old Navy and its super cute but it is really to big for me. Its 100% Cotton. The arms are a little long, because they are supposed to end at the end of my elbow but they go a little bit farther. How can I shrink this down one size?

  1. normal wash and dry cycle should do the trick

  2. Wash it in warm or hot water.  Next,  put it in the dryer on high for 20 mins.   It will naturally shrink some the first time you wash it anyway, as this is a natural property of 100% cotton clothing.

  3. wash it in warm water inside out and put it in the drier

  4. Look at the tag and make sure its not pre shrunk. If its not then depending on the color wash it by itself and use hot to warm water and then right in the dryer.  The reason I say depending on the color is because you could cause it to fade if you use hot water right off the bat.  Good luck.
