How can I shrink a 75% polymer and 25% cotton shirt to wear tomorrow afternoon?

Should I hang it in the sun, or wash it in warm water?

only natural fibers will shrink (in water), so i think that something that is 75% polymer wont shrink. the time would be better spent taking it to a alteration place and having a couple of darts put in the back to turn it into a fitted shirt (of course this will just reduce the body, if the sleeves are too long you'll have to just turn the cuffs up) (shrinking wouldn't sort that either anyway) OR how about taking it back to the shop and getting a smaller size?
