How can I shrink this kind of shirt? ?

I want a shirt shrunken, but the problem is some of my shirts have these plastic crests/logos on it, and I dont want this plastic on my shirt to melt or crack. is there a way i can shrink a shirt without damaging the plastic crest on a shirt??? I don't know to sew stuff so...yeah.

Wash it in cold water but hang dry it

That is how my dad shrinks mine!

wash it on warm and then dry it on high heat.

Make sure you dont shrink it too much or it will be emo looking.
