How can I skip "non-skip adverts" on a DVD?

Is there a code you can tap in? We have to wade through about 10 minutes of ads each time we watch Postman Pat.

use the fast forward button instead of skip? it just speeds them up to like 16x faster than usual.

might be your dvd player - I had one (one of the cheapo ones) and my options were very restricted. We recently bought another one (paid a bit more) and we can skip the trailers fine.

Rip it with DVDshrink & delete the adverts, then burn a 'clean' version.

I hate adverts :)
