Question:

How can I sleep without remembering dreams?

I went for several years where I would not dream at all. Well obviously I guess we always dream, but when I woke up I couldn't remember any. Those were the best sleeps ever. Now I keep having the stupidest and most worthless dreams and I wake up feeling tired because it feels like I've already done several hours of work. I'll even dream about work, only to wake up and have to do it again! It's awful!

Is it because I don't have a sleep schedule worked out? Because all through high school I wouldn't dream and was in a rigid schedule, about 12-1a.m until 7a.m for sleep. Now that I am finished school and only working, I'll get 5 hours of sleep one night and 12 the next, I know that this isn't healthy, but would this also cause this feeling?

Is there a certain number of hours that you can try to sleep for so that you end on a sleep cycle and will wake feeling better?

Because it doesn't matter if I sleep for 5 hours or 12, I often feel like c**p for the first half an hour to an hour of being up and this started after I began dreaming again.

I miss just falling asleep and then seeming to wake up a second later, even though the whole night had gone by.

  1. I reckon it's the best to talk to a specialist or something. No, I don't mean you have any mental illness or anything. I reckon a psychologist or someone like that could have you with your sleep patterns and stuff. Or go to the hospital for a sleep check up

  2. if you take melatonin before you go to sleep you won't remember your dreams, this really works i promise

  3. thats really weird...whats wrong with dreaming? 1. you don't know you're dreaming anyway so why does it matter and 2. if you do know you're dreaming you can control them and they can be very fun!! i dont see anything wrong with letting your subconscious sending your brain messages throughout sleep

  4. Smoke marijuana.

  5. If you want to not remember your dreams, the moment you wake up get out of bed straight away and do something.

Another thing that you might want to try is lying there for about 30 minutes, so that you dont feel bad after having a sleep.  The reason for not feeling well is because your astral body is out of alignment with your physical body.  If you can, go back to sleep again for about 10 minutes and wake up again.
