How can I sober up quick?

I'm as drunk as a skunk. How can I sober up quick? I have an exam tomorrow. I didn't mean to get smashed but I'm so nervous about failing. I had 10 or 11 too many at the pub..not like me.. I don't normally drink...Help, I'm so plastered!!

    get everything out of ur system, this will only make ur stomach feel better coz the alchohol is know in ur bloodstream not ur belly lol.

  2. Strong black coffee is the only thing I can really recommend to you. However, I wouldn't really know better.

  3. Sorry to tell you that the only thing that will sober you up is time.  Coffee will only make you awake & still drunk.  Try eating something to possibly soak up some of the booze.

  5. FREEZING cold shower that should wake you up!

    HOT coffee that will open up your insides and drain out the beer to help you focus and be sure to eat something.

    and then spray yourself down with perfume just in case you still kinda smell! oh AND BRUSH YOU TEETH !!!!! and your ready to go.

  6. the night b4 a test! okaii thereisnt reli a way of soberin up quicker it all depends on ur body but there r ways to make u feel better.

    1) water and ibuprofen - cleans ur system of alcohol wuicker

    2)sleep - more sleep the mre sober u will b wen u wake up - apperently!

  7. Your exam isn't until tomorrow...You'll be fine by then. Drink plenty of water, get some food in your stomach, and sleep off the hangover.  

  8. If you can write without mistakes it means you're not that bad, and you'll do great on your exam. Don't forget the hair of the dog tomorrow morning to keep you nice and tipsy during the test!

  12. Well, you really can't sober up but lots of caffiene and a cold shower will perk you up a bit and make you a little more alert. Drink lots of water too, to flush your system and rehydrate yourself. If you're tanked though, there isn't much you can do except wait for your body to readjust. Good luck and try not to get smashed before an exam again!

  13. The other answers are baloney. Time is the only way to sober up. How long it will take ? That depends on your body weight, how much you drank, and your individual metabolism,

    So, you will be fine. Drink a heap of water, have a sleep, have another small drink in the morning... the attend that exam with bravado!

  15. well caim down first take a nise relaxing shower then drink 2 glasses of water and 4 ibuprofen then take a nice napp. if you can eat somthing do that to . i find eating eggs bacon and toast with butter and cream cheese helps .

    Shower is important, hotter the better, sweats out the toxins a bit.

    Here we are:

    Hypoglycemia, dehydration, acetaldehyde intoxication, and vitamin B12

    That is what a hangover is in some respect so, eat something with sugar in it, that should help the hypoglycemia, drink fluids and water to hepl the dehydration, eggs can help with the b-12

    acetaldehyde intoxication is just the leftover toxins.

  17. Get a blood transfusion.

    The alcohol is in your bloodstream, not your stomach the only thing short of the transfusion is time.

  18. Drink TONS of Water... I mean till the verge of throwing up... and throwing up helps a lot too... if you want to go that far.

  19. Time is usually the only thing that works.  Drink plenty of water to avoid a hangover and dehydrating.

    Also eat fried chicken , this will absorb the alcohol.

  22. 1. If you have a lemon handy, then cut it and squeeze the juice into your mouth or just suck on it.

    2. Drink a litre of luke warm water.

    3. Take a shower after you drink water and then again drink a litre of luke warm water.

    If you are still plastered then you are screwed up pretty bad and the fastest way to sober up would be to go to a hospital and ask them to give you some glucose or plain dips. That sobers you pretty much quickly.


  23. yeah okay, you sound great:)  But anyways drink LOTS of water to flush out your system, and eat!  They say and I found it work best before a binger, but after can help too is eat a bowl or two of tomato soup, something with the acid in the sauce that helps.  

  24. Just try to drink water so it clears the alcohol out of your system. I am sorry you are having such a hard time coping. I suggest you really learn ways to cope without alcohol. I hope it works  out for you but most of all I hope you don't forget the lesson which is you have got to prevent this from happening again. Most people don't learn & it gets so bad their life is ruined. I coach people so they change their lives for the better. Get help cause it is much easier when someone is supporting you.

  25. You could drink a bunch of water, try eating something, take a nap, take some aspirin and vitamin Bs.  It will take time to get the alcohol out of your system, I don't know that there is any way to speed that up.  

  26. You don't sound drunk...but get PLENTY of sleep and fluids. Try some herbal teas too. Make sure you wake up on time, and study on your way to class. I hope this helps! Good luck!

  27. Carbs carbs carbs. A nice hot shower, and coffee, while not sobering you up, will help you. Eating and drinking lots of water is your best solution. AND it will keep you from a hang over since the only reason you get a hangover is being dehydrated. If you're throwing up, eat some saltines and drink a glass of milk. You'll throw up one, maybe two or three more times [just the slatines and milk] and then you'll be done throwing up. Then take your shower. A short nap might help too, but it might make you worse. Sleep is always the best, most natural solution tho. Energy drinks can help, because the caffine and carbanation can dilute the alcohol in your bloodstream quicker, making the effects less noticable, and eventually go away quicker because carbanation gets into your bloodstream quicker and cafine stays in longer.

  28. Eat, take some Tylenol, take a shower, drink lots of water, and go to sleep. Always works for me!

  29. STOP DRINKING!  Alcohol, that is!  Drink lots of water, more than usual but nor more than 3 liters in one day.  Walk a few miles or even run if your in shape.  Exercise will help excrete the alcohol effects and make you feel better.

  30. Start drinking lots of water now... then take some vitamins and eat bread, befor you go to sleep take 1 or 2 aspirin with lots of water you should be ok in the morning. Drink around 2 liters of water if you can drink more.

  31. Drive around until you get pulled over, a few hours in jail usually does the trick.
