How can I speed up Nero?

I have downloaded (legally) some of my favourite tv programmes and want to burn them to disc so I will be using Nero.

I set up the menus, background etc and plan to put 4, 45 min episodes on one disc. When I start to burn to disc it takes as long as the episodes last around 3 hours which means to burn all the series will take forever. Is there a faster way or better software?

nero is really only a medium, so it's going to be the speed of your computer or your cd/dvd drive, its also worth making sure that the media you are using is not an older slower speed type, also helps if the burner is on a seperate channel if ide from the hard drive.

before you burn the dvd it will ask about the writing speed choose the max but check you hardware (dvd-rw) writing speed before

3 HOURS???... Its not burning its converting your downloaded video(.avi) to DVD files(.vob,...). You better download any converter software and then write on dvd.
