Just a quick question,

Basically ive had the standard netgear wireless router for a while now and as you know it isnt all that great but we now have 2 laptops and a computer linked to it and internet browsing and other things are really really slow. Sky broadband is our provider and basically all I'm trying to find out is,

How can I broaden my router wireless range as we have quite a large house and thick walls and so the connection constantly keeps turning off. Also when we are all web browsing and its very very slow and sometimes no connection is found.

Basically could you recommend me some ways of overcoming these problems above whilst at the same time speeding up my wireless router.

some recommended wireless routers:

more than 108mbps

a large wireless range (70m )

and that is compatible with my network provider

around £90 !

Quick for gaming ! and someone browse the internet at the same time with not slow down.

Thanks for reading, kind regards Jack

  1. Switch to a Wireless-n router and wireless-n adapters in your computers.  Wireless-n is supposed to be faster and have greater range than Wireless-g or Wireless-b.  I hope this helps.
