How can I spice up my dress?

Question

I'm going to get a black dress that's shaped something like this

but the skirt has a bit of folds in it.

there is a bow on the waist which I don't like, but it's sown on and would be really easy to take off, which I plan to do. But without it the dress looks a bit plain, what can I put in it's place? Preferably something sparkly...

That's beautiful!  Put on a necklace and a bracelet and tuck a white flower in your hair or behind your ear!  That'd be really pretty.

Wear some jewerly probably silver would look best! Mabye put some iron ons on. Be creative do whatever you like mabye sew some thing on it like your name! IDK be creative it will turn out great!

Well get a sparkly belt ( the sequin ones will sparkle) and wear some nice jewelry! It's pretty cute and classy the way it is, so dont' change too much.

I suggest getting a corsage of fresh flowers to clip on the top of the dress to spice it up and then wear some pretty embellished shoes, sparkly dangling earrings, and some bangles. Also, you may want a pretty up-do with a few curls hanging down to draw attention to the face. Best of luck! Hope this helps! =]

depends on what your wearing it for, if it was a prom, less is more, would look gorgous...a bright pink corsage and bright pink nails varnish wud look stunning with black (thats what i did on my prom)...if a corsage is to dressy, some simple jewelry...a small chain necklace and matching bracelet like this: http://www.monsoon.co.uk/invt/38275136 (just an idea)...orrr you cud go for like chunky modern bracelets http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores... something like that???

You could put a white belt (a thin one) around the waist and then use white flats.  Or, if you want something sparkly, go for a cute sparkly belt and nice sparkly flats. If you want to tone the whole outfit down a bit, then I would use black earrings so it looks very cute.
