How can I start a new company in Quickbooks?

Several months ago I input some data in Quickbooks - but not complete...... I now want to start over and begin fresh and new. I want to delete all the old stuff -- but someone told me I should just start a new company........ How do you do that? If there's a better way, I would like to know that also.

To start a new business in Quickbooks, open the program, click "file" on the top menu bar and select "new company."

Then go through the interview.
