  1. That would be great! I wish there was one that I could join!

You could tell your friends that are moms and tell them to pass it on. Also you could put up flyers at the spa or nail salon.

    Good luck!

  2. Make some flyer's and put it out around town and ask the hospital if you can put a flyer up on their information board. Also some radio stations will let you or they will read info. out on the air.

  3. you can start one if you go to this website its meetup.com go to the category which would be parenting and you can start a new stroller walking group there are tons of mommy meetups on there

  4. put up notices where mother go.  grocery stores, laundry mats, pediatricians, etc.

talk to other mothers you see.

  5. These are all great ideas.  I love meetup.com or bigtent.com (alot like meetup without the fees) or even right here on Yahoo! Groups.  I would start with any friends you might have that have babies (or friends of friends) as well as local bullentin boards.  Also try the local libraries, many of them have infant storytime where you could most likely meet other mommies looking to get out too.

  6. Outside of my local grocery store there is a bulletin board where the townspeople can post any flyers or advertisements. This would be a great place to post a flyer about your idea. (Which is genius, I must say!)

Another thing to do is to go to a daycare or preschool nearby and post a flyer. You might even be able to talk to the owner and have her spread the word, too.

So if this is something you really think would be good, go for it! It's a great idea. Have fun being a new mommy! =]
