How can I start off this little paragraph to explain why I would be a good volunteer at a hospital?

Ok so i want to volunteer at this hospital, and you need to write a short paragraph explaining what you would contribute to the hospital as a volunteer. I'm find with writing the paragraph, i just dont know how to start it--like the first sentence, i need to make the first sentence really strong and appealing. And ideas?

Please remember, i'm not asking you guys to write the thing for me, i'm just asking for some ideas of how to start the first sentence.

Volunteerism is a spirit that emanates fr the heart. In every one of us there is this wondrous feeling of helping ourselves and helping others, more so helping others.
