I'd like to build my stamina gradually to run about 3 times a week. Roughly 2 miles each run. My biggest problem has always been my breathing. Any suggestions as to how I can improve my breathing?

  1. Breathing is a natural thing.  if it isnt coming easy then slow down and catch your breathe.  The only time you should be out of breath is if you are doing some kind of anaerobic workout like sprinting

  2. Inka Kola. I promise I can really help you out if you give me more details. I am a semi-professional runner and coach, and I love everything to do with running. I'm currently working on a website which allows me to give out personalized training programs to people like you. If you email me at keegmiester@mac.com I can give you one free of charge. Thanks a lot. And if you choose not to, good luck on your own. I hope you find a passion for running like I did.

  3. The best way is to start of slow and build your way up. so maybe try a treadmill or something

maybe try and walk for 10 minutes and run for 5 minutes then walk for 10 etc.

dont worry about your breathing its completely natural cos u know that whens the runs over youll be sweet
