How can I stay awake without drinking coffee in the morning?

I believe I get enough sleep, but I don't want to drink coffee...

  7. A recent study showed that smelling coffee (or coffee beans) might have the same effect as drinking it.  I don't really believe it but it might help if you can stop yourself from drinking it after smelling it.

    for me, I drink instant coffee (i do not get the jitters) as i would if i drank regular coffee.) it tastes okay, and it gives that kick you need to stay alert.
