I have my driving test tomorrow and when I'm out driving I feel fine, but I'm usually really bad under pressure and i get really nervous. How can I stay composed so I don't do something stupid?

Also, it's at 8am! What can I do or eat to help me focus better?

  1. have a drink or two.

  2. what would harrold and kumar do? jk bad idea you should get a good sleep and take deep breaths durring the test it always helps me relax

  3. Odds are you will be pretty wound up, so you will have to decide what to eat for yourself... I will be no help there. sorry...

as far as how to stay calm, taking a deep breath is a great idea, and also keep in mind that it is not the end of the world if something happens. I would assume that you have driven before, meaning that you do have a permit. so just be yourself, don't try to put on a facade or anything like that. don't be hard on yourself if you think you do something wrong, that will only make matters worse.

I am 32 and recently did my test for motorcycle and for a semi truck, so you just have to be calm and be yourself. and don't crank the radio :) they hate that....Good Luck

  4. Think of all the fun you will have after you pass the test> It will be fine millions pass it all the time>Just think of driving and don't worry about the other person with you> adj the mirror & put seat belt on> Before starting the car>

  5. Understand that everyone is nervous during their driving test.  Be sure to take deep breaths and pay attention to what you are doing.  If you are a good driver then you will still be a good driver during your test.

Be sure to eat breakfast like cereal or toast or a bagel and fruit.  Do not drink anything with caffeine!  All that will do is just increase your anxiety and you don't need that!

Good luck!  Just relax and be yourself and you will do fine.
