Question:

How can I stay/get in shape in volleyball?

while i'm injured? i have a fractured thumb so i cant set, hit, serve, or even bump a volleyball for a week, its a small fracture but still. then i have these HORRIBLE knee pains, they are seriously horrible, theres like this sharp pain in them alot. i went to the er and got an xray and the bones are badly bruised but they dk if i tore something so when i get an ok from my doctor that my thumbs ok then he has to schedule an app. for an mri but that means i cant even run, or jump or anything. so is there anything i can do to get into better shape? idk if my knee problem is serious but still after a week ill b way behind the girls, what can i do?

  1. go running but wear very soft shoes that have good insoles to avoid jolting your feet and as for the specifics just practice the motions and that should help.. remember for pain ice then heat.. and also some sort of anti-inflammatory


  2. I would do sit ups, try running in place, and practicing your armswing and passing positions without a ball.  My high school team practices our postitions and movements without balls very often.
