Like if I want to use it for water or tea later.I was gonna just add some bleach to water and shake it up good, and rinse and dry,But Im not sure that'd be good if I was gonna use it againSo is that the best way or should I do something else?

I wash my plastic milk jugs out and put two cups of white vinegar in the jug and swish and shake it around real good. As it air dries the vinegar kills the bacteria. Works great for me. Jugs smell vinegary, but that's OK. The smell doesn't seem to make a difference if I use the jug for koolaid or tea in the fridge. I keep a 2 cup wide mouth plastiuc bottle of vinigar on the cupboard near the kitchen sink. Wash and rinse the bottle out. Pour in the vinegar. Swish it around well then pour the vinegar back into the smaller container for use on the next milk jug, Do some googling and you'll see how beneficial vinegar can be as a sanitizer.
