  1. You should get an old blanket and put it on at night and hold it either side by closing the car doors on each end of the blanket. So you can just pull the blanket off and off you go.

  2. Ice?

I don't get no d**n ice on my windshield!

I've never even seen ice on my windshield.

    Not even on anyone's windshield.

You must live where it gets cold outside (I don't).

Have you tried parking inside? It'll probably work.

  3. There's a home made solution I saw on DIY tv channel.  I forget exactly.  I think it is water + vinegar, or water + lemon juice, or water + baking soda (or something real simple).

    But keep searching.  It exists.

    Good Luck...

  4. how can all of you give such dumb answers?????

Just put your defogger on when youre in the car or cover the car when ure not

  5. my father told me to put newspaper on my windscreen on a night .. i laughed at him .. but tried it as i too am sick of getting it off of a morning and that worked!!!

  6. Move somewhere where the weather is hotter?

    No?  OK.

I had a ice shield, its sort of like a nylon sheet that you put over the windscreen.  The ice still forms on it, but you just take it off and your windscreen is ice-free.

  7. The simplest way is to cover you windscreen with a tarp when you park it for the evening. You can buy plastic tarps with magnets sewn into the edges just for this purpose.

  8. Park it in the garage.

  9. Cut a potato in half and rub the cut surface over the windscreen at night and it will not ice up.
