  1. Call them.

  2. Send a letter back that says:

    I DONT WANT YOUR MAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    (Not really)

I haven't ordered your Mag. Thanks!

    And don't pay the bill

Still Probs? Call a lawyer. ;) (JK)

  3. Once you have sent back or ordered anything from R/D you will for ever after receive stuff from them.  I had this problem and fixed it by:

I returned the bill/correspondence with a covering letter stating I had not ordered anything and to desist in sending my anymore correspondence relating to Readers Digest.  I kept a photocopy for reference and from then on when I received anything, I just crossed my name out and wrote on the front of the information  "Return to sender - unknown at this address".

I had to do that for at least 6 months but eventually they stopped sending me anything.

I have now been R/Digest free for 3 years.  Yahoo!!!!  It is kinda like been 'smoke free'.  ha ha

  4. I just had this happen to me 2 weeks ago!  I got this Special Editions invoice in the mail saying that I got one free and got the second in the series and had to pay.  I didn't receive either one and never ordered that book.  I have found in the past too that they just send you stuff randomly "for free" and then they bill you for the next one in the serioes.

I called their customer service number that I got off their website.    Go to www.rd.com and click on "Customer Care".  Then on that page search for the product you are getting invoices for and click on that.  You should then see a link for "Customer Service Toll Free Number".  Click on that and call that number.  Tell them that you never ordered that product and that you are getting very upset now about getting invoices for things you never received or wanted.

    Good luck!

  5. write thema letter, keep a photocopy for your records and
