How can I stop Yahoo from redirecting when I select a website?

When I do a yahoo search and select a web site I get redirected by yahoo the first time on almost every try, I x out of it and the second time it pulls up the requested site. how do I stop this

I've never encountered that problem. I just tried again, searching for soemthing totally random, and clicking on the first site. It worked fine. Perhaps you should run a spyware scan and virus scan on your computer. AdAware is a really good, free utility for removing spyware. It can be found at http://lavasoft.com/ Run it, and run your antivirus, and see what they pick up. If that doesn't do any good, post again and I will show you to a site that will walk you through how to report and fix browser hijacks.
