Question:

How can I stop a Flu from getting worse?

My throat has that weird raw feeling like it's closing up or something, and my nose feels weird and blocked.

Perfect signs that I'm about to be hit with a whopper of a flu, they irritate me so much, dry my face up and make me incredibly groggy.

Is there any way I can stop it before it takes major hold?

  3. not a lot.     Only try to alleviate the symptoms,  Its a virus   it is your  body immune system thar will overcome it.   Paracetamol,  lots of water and bed.. are the best things.

  4. Although you feel pretty bad, it could just be a cold. You can't really halt a virus, you have to let it run it's course. Get plenty of rest, take paracetamols and push fluid intake. That is all you can do really. Sip warm drinks to soothe your throat

  5. Get flu plus capsules from the chemist. These are good at lessening the symptoms

  6. Switch off your computer, go to bed and stay there.

  7. Well if you had flu you wouldn't be able to get out of bed, let alone type anything on a computer.  You have a cold.  Take some paracetomol and drink lots of water.

  8. the flu always gets worse before it gets better so i think the best you can do isjust take rapid aspirins like panadol rapid

  9. Try Bee Propolis 350mg once in the day and once at night. Bee Propolis builds your immune system. It is anti-bacterial, anti-viral... anti-everything!!

  10. Ah, man flu.

    Paracetamol and of to bed.

  11. You can only treat the symptoms. Drink lots of fluid ( water and gatorade). If you have a fever alternate Tylenol and Motrin. Stay at home and take it easy. It is going to get worse before it gets better. REMEMBER to wash your hands!!
