  1. They have animal repellent try the pet store.

  2. Honestly, don't worry about it. When the animal uses your lawn as a litter box it helps to fertilize your soil.

    Think about all the other animals who use it that you don't know about...ants, worms, flies, squirrels, birds, etc. It's only natural.

  3. YOU CAN'T ,as long as there are dogs and cats running around in the neighborhood without the conscientious owners there is nothing you can really do except to deal with it.i went to walmart and bought deer urine ,it is used for hunters to  entice the does in breeding season.

    i found that this does work in keeping the strays away.

  4. You can also try Cayenne Pepper, however a lawn sounds like a big surface and if it rains you'll need to re-apply. In my house plants I've placed 2" rocks. If you are having trouble with a flower bed this is another alternative.

  5. turn the sprinklers on :)

  6. get a dog and there won't be a cat problem. Otherwise, deal with nature.  Using a sprinkler will make the experience unpleasant. But cats just learn to stay away from where the sprinkler is.

  7. most cats are smart, and will learn from repeated bad experiences which lawns are not toilet material.

    so, do your best to give it a bad experience, every time!

    * potatoes can be missiles

    * sprinklers / hoses are great suggestions

    * put vinegar or lemon juice in a spray bottle and squirt liberally on on the defecating cat, then when it has to l**k itself later it's reminded of how unpleasant your lawn really is...

    Good luck!

  8. A tin of regular black pepper (the stuff you put on your food, from the grocery store) sprinkled in the soil may help.

    Your best option would be predator urine - believe it or not, you can actually find it at most garden supply stores.  It's also available online.  And it comes in a powder form in a shaker can - see the link below.

  9. Sit where the cat cant see you and wait(beer is recomended because this may take a while) when you see the cat sprey him with a hose topped with a fire nosle
