  1. first of all stop any sugar and caffeine intake then take a yoga class to learn to relax and breathe anxiety has alot to do with breathing properly the yoga helps with that too try and remove all stress factors in your life keep life simple for awhile and live in the moment rather than yesterday or tomorrow

  2. That sounds like EXACTLY the sort of thing antidepressants can help... I was anxious and impatient and irritable all the time, but then my doctor prescribed Cymbalta and now I have a feeling that all is well with the world. :) It really helped me relax and put things in perspective without getting strung out.

  3. For people like us, (high-strung?) patience and calm need to be a learned thing. For some, it is natural but for me, it took years of (ongoing) practice. Watch for signs that an impatient episode is coming (or notice quickly that one is occurring) and ask yourself if it is a situation that you have control over. If you don't then you can let it go - like a long line or a conversation with a r****d. If it is something you can fix like a big bill to pay or some other deadline to reach... then fix it. May be relaxation and yogurt are the answer but that sounds like it might take up too much of my hectic schedule. Remember...Only YOU need to be happy and only YOU can make you happy. Good luck.
