Question:

How can I stop hearing what I speak in the microphone?

I am using Yahoo Phone Out through SoliCall (recording software) and a simple microphone headset. The only problem is my microphone is not loud enough, hence I need to have the standard Windows microphone boost on. Whenever I do that, I can hear myself breathing into the microphone and hear a very annoying echo of my voice.

  1. Hi!

Check in your volume options that the microphone is muted. This means it will still record sound as normal but the sound from your microphone does not come through the PC speakers.
