I use a Ping G10 with a draw bias because I always used to hit a slice. It was my best friend for a while but now I can't stop topping it and sending it sharp left

  1. Just aim the opposite way and then move up on your stance.

  2. I recently ran into the same problem with my off-set King Cobra.  What I did (I am a 12 handi-capper no pro by any means) was open the face and slowed down my swing.  It was mostly yips and fast hands that were causing the duck hook.  Also, make sure your swing plane isn't too flat (that happened to me when I started play Tiger Woods on my Wii lol).

  3. Slow your swing down and just try concentrating on swinging through the ball. I suspect you are falling back when striking the ball and just need to keep your balance throughout the swing. I occasionally suffer from the same problem when stressed and a bit stiff. Make sure you correctly position the ball in your stance and align your shoulders properly.Sometimes a reverse pivot can be to blame. I am lucky enough to play with an elderly pro. on a regular basis and he provides me with ongoing tuition. I cannot understand why I fail to reach my goals for I find golf a most frustrating game. Is it not amazing that you can hit successive shots, apparently in the same way, but they go in different directions. Good luck.

  4. i suggest going to the driving range and pracice soft slow hit with your clubs dont worry about power first worry about squaring up the face of the club and as you swing dont pull your arms in or out that creates a spin on the ball  the ball spins as it flies through the air creating drag and like water it will folow the path of least resistance what i mean by pulling is that as you swing keep your arms straight and at a constant space from your torso dont pull them in towards you or push them out that creates the spin if you have any more questions please fee free to email me

  5. The only answer that will actually help you is this: -

GO AND HAVE A LESSON WITH A TEACHING PRO

  6. Well if you are topping it try teeing it a little bit higher.  A g10 is a 460 cc so i would recommend that you tee the ball a half a ball higher then the top of the club head.  Also if you are hitting it sharp left make sure that you are shifting your weight to your front foot and getting your hips through the shot.

One thing that I always tell my friends is to always hold your follow through, you can never hit a bad shot if you hold your follow through till the ball hits the ground, trust me give it a try.  Good luck!

  7. Though I obviously am only guessing due to the fact I can't see what you are actually doing.  It sounds to me as if you are suffering from classic over-swinging syndrome.

  8. Hooking is caused by an out to in swing path with a closed club face.  the offset will make it worse.

Topping sounds like you are coming out of the shot (lifting) too early - maybe you are too anxious to see the result.

  9. ok, my method is easy.

set up the tee about an inch off the ground.

get in your regular stance, and put the club head about 3 inches behind the ball.

look at a blade of grass, just one single blade of grass, directly in front of your club face.

now, without taking your eye off that one single blade of grass, go take a nice easy swing, keep your feet planted and your back locked.

(back locked meaning.. "on your back swing, don't stand up anymore, make sure if you are bent over when you square up with the ball, you remain bent over throughout your entire approach and followthrough.")

if you honestly need any more help you can email me.

i have a few good methods that come in handy for me.

  10. your probably swinging too fast slow down your tempo
