Question:

How can I stop mails after leaving a group?

I left the group years ago, but am still being pestered with mails from the leader of "Acrylicsart". When I try to rejoin the group to deal with this problem from the inside I am told that I was thrown out! I have no idea what I could have done to be thrown out of any group. It is is most annoying that all attempts to stop these mails - bouncing every single one of them and protesting in emails - has proved ineffective. I find the behaviour of this group leader offensive. Please help me get her off my back! Thanks

  1. so you're not getting group mail, but mail from the owner. that is not a groups issue, really, but one of a personal nature. that person probably has you in their address book. depends on their mail server- if they have yahoo, report them for abuse.

if they don't have Yahoo mail- locate who the server is, and send an abuse form to them

  2. If your email is Yahoo, check the box and then hit spam.

  3. Here is how you can unsubscribe from a Yahoo Group:

    1.Try to unsubscribe through:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

    2. If this doesn't work out, send an e-mail to the group owner telling him/her to stop mailing you. (GROUPNAME-owner@yahoogroups.com)

If these still didn't work for you try the following options:

    3. Block the address(es) or arrange your preferences so that they are sent to your bulk/spam folder.

    4. Contact yahoo customer care:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

  4. Open the next email then click on spam just above the message .  That should put it on your blocked list.  Failing that, report her.
