That little clip in the picture keeps moving while I ride which makes the dynamo engage. It's really annoying because the dynamo produces a lot of drag and I don't want to burn my bulbs out while just riding during the day. Is there any way I can prevent this? Thank you.

  1. On the other end of that spring loaded lever is a small shoulder that engages a tab that holds the dynamo away from the tire. After a while the spring breaks or the shoulder wears away. There is really no way to repair it. Sorry.

  2. Take it off.

    Throw it away

And fit a LED rear light. And a rechargeable front one.
