How can I stop my period!?

Well I started my period on Wednesday.

It's Friday today and it's my best friends birthday party....

It's a pool party.

I've had my period for like 3 years but I just can't use tampons.

My periods can be anywhere between 1-4 days long.

Can anyone help me with how to stop my period!?!

  1. What she said!  Fact of life unfortunately!  If you're uncomfortable with using tampons, try an applicator - they're very easy to use.  Just be mindfull of keeping the string in the bathers!! (Hasnt happened to me - but have heard stories!)

I dont recommend this 3 years into your period cycle - and some dont recommend it at all - but it is possible to manage your period cycle with the contraceptive pill.  However for your immediate purpose - sorry - just have to live with it!!

  2. You can use tampons it does not hurt

  3. There is no way to stop it. Maybe you can try again to use a small tampon tonight.

I don't know why you can't use tampons, but just given the fact, that you can't, maybe it is worth trying to use a menstrual cup. It is made of silicone and doesn't dry out the v****a. I am using it and don't feel it at all. The Ladycup is a very small cup, maybe suitable for you, regarding your problems with tampons.

  4. i laughed when the person said get pregnant....

  5. either just try and use a tampon, or go to the party and wear shorts and just make up some excuse why you can't go swimming, like you don't feel well or something like that. when you're in cool water, your period will actually stop, so maybe use a panty liner in your suit but as soon as you get out of the water go and change to put on your pad so there's no leakage!

  6. Get pregnant.

Sorry girl, when your body says it's time, it's time. Unfortunately you just have to suck it up and use tampons.
