i always use glass cleaner to clean my windows.after that i wipe it with a damp cloth and lastly a newspaper until it dry properly.

Use vinegar and newspaper. You can use it full strength or 1/3 vinegar and water in a spray bottle. The newspaper wont leave any residue behind that paper towel might. It's not the most pleasant smelling at first but it really does work!

the best thing in the world in Galss Plus (and its cheap).  Consumer reports even agreed.  you'll also want to either get a squeege (remembering to wipe it after every stroke for best results) or use very dry paper.  Newpaper works well.  Works for me.

Don't clean them when the sun is shinng directly on them.  Use vinegar and water or windshield washer fluid. I prefer a squeegie to avoid streaks.

Windex is a good brand they have a streak free solution. Also after you clean your windows apply rain-x. It will keep your windows cleaner for a longer period

Newspaper wadded up,  I have heard this does a good job.

mix 2 parts alchohol with one part water and one part vinegar

the alcohol helps with fast drying and less streaking

Two people are needed.  One on each side of the glass, where feasible.

First off don't clean them when the sun is beating down on them. It dries them too fast and tends to streak. Use an ammonia based cleaner and newsprint. Don't use the color or slick portions of the paper just the black and white pages. Paper towels and such have chemicals which will leave the windows filmy and streaky and also leave a lot of lint. Newsprint doesn't have them and also doesn't leave lint.

Put clothes on them right away! That'll stop them from streaking!
