Question:

How can I stop myself from being nervous?

I have a presentation on Wednesday and all week-end I've been trying to tell myself that it's not a big deal and it will be quick, but it's not helping.

--

I get nervous when I stand and talk in front of the class and when that happens my voice starts to tremble & my body starts shaking, and that's the most embarrassing part when people realize I'm nervous.

--

Basically, what ways are there for me to contain myself & not tremble and shake while speaking?

If anyone can help me, thank you so much, because I need all the help I can get.

  1. I get nervous too. what i do is i just think on the bright side!!! Like I said, I get nervous too. You could also practice in front of your family. Remember, nobody can hurt you out there.

                  Try to act strong.

show them what you're made of.!.!.

  2. No matter when your going to be sitting there and your name is going to be called and you can't do nothing about it....It's your time to go up there.

Just get it over with because when your done, your done. I use to hate talking in front of class but the sooner you get it done with the better. Try to go first if you can so you get the rest of the time to relax. 5 mins won't kill you....

Think of it this way NO ONE in that class wants to go present every single person is nervous. No one is really even paying any attention except the teacher. The students could care less what your talking about. Just take a deep breath and when your walking up there think to yourself "All i have to do is read/talk about what i learned and i'm done."
