Don't litter, and try to reuse things as much as you can.

Well you need to find something that people are quite wasteful with and help to educate people to use less and re-use.

For example, I've started a campaign to get people using energy efficient desktop PCs and to offset the emissions caused by computers.

These are all things we can do as individuals.  No one person can make a dent in reducing pollution but if we all try it will make a real change.

The biggest thing that you can do is just recycle, reuse and reduce!!!!!  If you are walking down the street and see recyclables that some other dirtbag has littered by all means pick them up and take them home to your bin.  Try to start a local campaign to increase recycling in your area.
