How can I stop the bad smell of a shell ? ?

The dead part is still in. How can I take it out?

place them out in the sun for about a week it will dry out,or bake it in the oven at low temp for 3-4 hours..........tom

boil it and and soak it in bleach if it wont hurt the color. perhaps scrape out the innards.

more like a dead hermit crab...

i would boil it, but the dead thing will come out lol and be really nasty.

but atleast itll sterelize it!!

we have hermit crabs and i know what a dead crab looks like, and its not pretty....

makes me want to throw up jsut saying...
