How can I stop the pain inside me?

I'm so unhappy. I'm depressed and all i do is cry. I feel as if its pointless to carry on. I'm writing this yahoo answers because there is no one else to turn to. Please don't judge me.

  1. I know it sounds dumb but SEE A DOCTOR. They are there to help and they care. If you need immediate help, ring Lifeline or Kids Help Line. There are people out there who care so much about you. Remember that God loves you as well. He has a very special purpose for your life, even if it doesn't seem like it at the moment. =)

  3. It's quite normal to feel this way at times. Sometimes the cause is hormones, sometimes it's as simple as a b vitamin deficiency. We tend to use up more b vitamins than normal if we have been stressed. This causes a brain chemical called serotonin to lower. Try eating foods that contain b vitamins or taking b vitamins in tablet form. E.g. brewers yeast.

    It's funny how when we feel low, we go into negative mood. It's as if we remember everything bad in one go and it becomes too much for us to cope with. Start by looking at your diet and your health first, if that doesn't help and you have an inkling that it's a brain chemical imbalance, see your doctor. If it's much more than that and its a real problem or difficulty that you are coping with or memory you can't handle you need to talk to someone. Preferably a really close friend who is a good listener.

    Try to understand why you feel the way you do. By doing some personal research on your problem you can give yourself hope. There will always be someone out there who has been through what you're going through and has found a way to solve it. Above all give yourself a break. Don't allow yourself to feel down for too long. Tell yourself yourself you need to swtich modes and think about something else. Yes, there will be times that you need to spend time working things out and thinking more deeply. But, we can only cope doing this in short bursts. None of us have the mental stamina to be down for any length of time.

    Many find that doing something to assist others helps, or thinking about the help that can be gained by learning more about God. Why not talk to the next person to call on your door with a Bible in their posession. You'd be surprised at how good they are at listening and they may even become the person that you can turn to in times of distress. Don't lose hope. I have confidence in you. You can do this.  

  4. I dont know how to stop it. I also feel like this, so alone and depressed no matter how far i come to being happy again something brings me down.

    Do you know what is causing you to be so deppressed? With me its my boyfriend, hes caused me stress for our whole 9 year relationship. But if i leave him i will be totally by myself. God i hate my life.

    But i know it wont always be like this so i must keep going and so must you. You are not alone, there a so many people who struggle like you.

  5. always put your best foot forward. go up to a friendly looking girl or guy that you've never met and just start smiling and talking to them about anything. you will realize how nice people in this world really are. continue this pattern over and over again to every person you meet. the thing that combats depression the best, is having a lot of friends ;)

    don't do anything stupid like cutting also, because you'll have ugly scars that stick with you for life, and they will make you depressed every time you look at them :(
