  1. Don’t buy produces that contain whale, if there is no demand then they will stop hunting whales. Even Japan is having a harder time sell whale meat, the people in Japan aren’t eating much of it. So if there is no demand the hunting will stop.

As far as signing petitions, most of them are useless, unless it’s for your government and even then most of them are useless. What good does it do? It might make you feel better but it won’t solve the problem.  Problems as solved by people getting involved not by people signing a petition, but that takes work and most people don’t care enough to do real work to solve a problem.

  2. I'd say, eat right and work out. ;-)  Oh, you mean THOSE whales!  Er,

Write your MPs.  The Australian navy is very good about getting illegal fishing boats, maybe it's time for AUS to declare those same waters off-limits to whalers of any nation.  Even for transit.

  3. I think that the USA subs should sink those pesky whaling ships.

  4. The only reason that whales are being hunted is that there is a demand for them.

If you want to stop whales from being hunted (and assuming you live in a "democracy") you should write to your congressional representatives or members of parliament.  Each elected government representative in your district should have an official site that you can write to.  If they don't support anti-whaling initiative, write to one that does.  If there aren't any petitions, start one.  You may not be emancipated, or of legal voting age, but you have a voice!

If you don't feel that your voice is loud enough, you could support a lobbying organization that promotes ending whaling.  If there isn't one, start one:)

    Good Luck!

  5. www.whalesrevenge.com

    i love whales!

  6. Doesn't matter if you can join Greenpeace or not, You can still let them know you support their efforts. Also there should be a United Nations branch that deals with Ocean issues and they might have a site that you can contact. Other than that go to whatever demonstrations that happen up to and including starting your own group or demonstration. You're really not too young to be heard or make yourself count. All you need is a desire and tenacity.

  7. if you go to a whalers annonymous group they will help you drop this horrible habit.

  8. I agree. The persecution of fat chicks is wrong. fat people are usually more happy than skinny people. I say live and let live and what does Greenpeace have to do with porkers anyways.

  9. http://www.greenpeace.org/usa   Your never to young.                                             The Australian Navy does patrol those waters in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary. But they can't get them all.
