I live on a property with two houses and a Linksys wireless router is set up at one and at the other house I get a 1 or 2 bar signal strength and the internet connection kept dropping. So, I went out and bought a Linksys wireless G Range Extender and it strengthened the signal by about 25% and the signal strength shuffles between 2 and 3 bars and the internet connection still drops constantly. Is there a way I can strengthen it with aluminum foil?

  1. No sorry foil wont do anything. You need a repeater. You can buy one at stores like Best Buy, Circuit City... most places that sell computers and accessories. They run about $100 .....good luck

  2. I lve led zepplin, too.

Make a pringles Cantenna and aim it at the signal.

If you are within 200 feet of the house your signal should be stronger.

Our  airport express even blasts it out to the patio, through brick and plaster.

    make one yourself:  http://cruftbox.com/cruft/docs/cantenna....
