Well first off I have a kodak Z812 IS and its a good sized camera. I don't have a camera bag. I think my camera is going to get broken real soon if I don't start taking care of it. Ok first off when I have it around my neck and I go out a door or something it smashes against the door. Then my baby couzins slobber on the lens cap and on the neck strap. Then my friends are always taking it away from me to take pictures even after I have told them not to. Then if I bring it down to the beach I sit it on a beach towel and then my friends want the towel and they don't move my camera and then it tumbles down into the sand. Can someone help me with some suggestions on how to take better care of my camera?? Thanks!!

  1. get a protective case and try to get the sand out. I always have my camera strap around my hand so i dint drop it and i think you might want to do that. Also try to clean the lens with a q-tip. And if your friends are there maybe you shouldn't bring it or keep an eye on it at all times!

  2. get a purse/bag for it to keep it safe, also, try and keep it away from the people that get it messy.

  3. just bye a case for it and use only when needed also keep away from clumsy people and children
