How can I take continuous shots with a Canon powershot S5 IS?

I meant shots that are taken continuously in just a single click of a button.

  1. Yes, the continuous shooting/self-timer button is the one directly behind the shutter release button. You have three types of continuous shooting to select from, but the standard 'continuous' one is best as it's the fastest (if you call up to 1.5fps, fast).

    You will need to use a high speed SD or SDHC card (something like Sandisk Extreme III).

    check your Advanced User Guide...pages 46-47, for information on continuous shooting.


  2. Unless they've moved it (I have the S3is), it's the button on top right behind the trigger button.

    You cycle through three options - single, continuous and self timer.
