How can I take out the liquid in my ear?

I feel liquid in my ear it doesn't hurt but I got this a couple times before and it's annoying. I have a cold right now.

  1. If you have a cold, the "liquid" you describe is most likely part of the congestion you are experiencing in your sinuses from the cold.  Do not stick anything deep in your ears!  Try taking a decongestant (like Sudafed, for example) to help break up the congestion, which will hopefully release some of the pressure in your ears, and allow things to drain.

  2. I had this problem with myself and my children many times before all you have to do is put a hot (as you can handle-but not too hot so you'll burn yourself!-) dry towel on your ear. Put the hot towel on your pillow and sleep on (your side) the ear that has water in it until you will start to feel water (if any) trickle out of your ear this works for me when I get water in my ear try it! But dude seriously be careful with the hot towel.....
