How can I tell a repro Patti Playpal from an original?

I have a Patti Playpal doll with cut hair, in good condition, but her arms are a bit soft, like vinyl. Is this original or a repro? Did the original have rock-hard arms or were they squeezable? Thanks so much!

Hi Luv.

I have 5 Patti Playpal dolls and all 5 have rock solid arms. They are all marked at the base of the neck Ideal Doll G 35. I hope this helps.

the original Patti Play Pal had hard plastic arms. look on the neck or back and see if there is a copyright date.
