How can I tell him it's over?

I have been seeing an ex for a while (at his request) as a friend and I don't want to continue but can't seem to find the words to tell him that the love just isn't there anymore.

I don't want to hurt him but I don't want to be a doormat either.

Any suggestions?

Therefore, if you really want to move on, talk straight on his face as a grown up and you will be surprised to learn that he is a grown-up too. :)

mmmm.... well dont hang with him! whenever he wants to do something just tell that you cant or you already made plans! eventually he will stop calling and trying to hang out with u
