  1. the ones that are poofy and fat have rare rares in them plus buy a poket scale that way you can weagh the packs holos weagh more then rares althogh you won't be able to get ultmate rare.....................sorry

    hope this helps

  2. Ok the ink they use on the holo cards it harder and heavier then the normal rares. So if you cant weigh them then just squeeze the pack, the ones that feel a little more stiff have halos. And from experience, when they place a secret rare in a box, its the 5th one down on the left side. That's only if they put a secret rare in. Good Luck

  3. If the box is a 24 pack box in the store, get the two last packs. One of those two has a holo. Another way to try is freeze an unopened booster pack. when you take it out of the freezer the packs that are the most inflated should have a holo. Be careful with this one though as sometimes upper deck adds cardboard weights to them.

  4. ways to get holos is scaling, bending, and i heard of freezing.

scaling is pretty self explanatory. bending is slightly bending the booster to find resistance. holos have a material that makes it a bit thicker and more resistant to bending. i dont know much about the freezing.

also one of the best online retailers i found is dave and adam's card world. they have some of the cheapest prices i seen. i saved like 20-30 % on my boxes compared to other retailers. and they are based in amherst new york. only bad part for me, since im in california, takes almost a week to ship it too me.
