How can I tell if my field hockey stick is broken?

Check if it's vibrating and look for cracks. Otherwise check howmany pieces it's in. If it's more than one, im thinking it may be broken. Get a gryphon, they are mad nog.

1. Hold it out in front of you parallel to the ground.

2. Look down the shaft.

3. Is there a 90 degree angle with a part going perpendicular to the ground? If Yes, proceed to step 5. If no, step 4.

4. Is the stick in multiple pieces: ie, did part of the stick not come up with the rest of the stick when you picked it up? If yes, proceed to step 5. If no, your stick is probably not broken.

5. Your stick is broken.

usually good field hockey sticks are in 1 piece.  If yours is in 2 pieces, odds are its broken!
