How can I tell in the pokemon cards that I have are 1st addition or unlimited?

I have a bunch of cards I am getting ready to sell.. and I have a value book and the prices are different depending on if its first addition or unlimited, but I don't know how to tell what mine are

  1. if their first edition it will say right on it 1st edition
