I recently found a little kitten outside and have decided to bring it into my home. It's yellow and orange with grey eyes. But I can't tell if it's a boy or a girl. My mom can tell but I won't see her until Wednesday. Can someone please describe to me what looks like what.

  1. This photograph comparing kittens of both sexes may help you.

    Enjoy your new friend.

  2. Well the trick is to blow that area, its very similar with chickens and I learned this technique whilst crossing Egypt from an African woman, if you blow it and nothing happens its a girl, if you blow that area and it pops out, its a boy.

    Daniel.

  3. Males have a little bump right above the a**s. It's very hard to tell in kittens though.

  4. boys have penises and girls have vaginas

  5. You have to look at the privates. The female genitalia are more closer together.

The male are farther apart. It may be easier when it gets older to tell, but usually it's easy for me to tell even at a young age.

    Here's a picture. It's small, but understandable. http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:lxae...

  6. Can you take it to a vet?

If not, how old do you think the kitten is?

If it looks older than 7 weeks, look in the private area.

If not, wait for your mother; you don't have to give the kitten a name yet!

  7. On a boy, there should be a small bump under his b******e. A girl will have no bump but will have another hole.
